One of the changes on the D817v2 platform is the addition of this alloy center chassis brace to improve clutch bell and spur gear wear and also help with general longevity of parts around this area a give a improved brake feel.

This is compatible directly with the HB-204325 chassis on the 817v2 or can be retrofitted to 817 with the original 204040 chassis with the addition of two countersunk 3mm holes drilled in the chassis. By lining the brace up the location of the holes is easily marked and can be drilled by hand.
