The new V2 steering system for the Mugen Seiki MBX8-R represents an evolution of the Ackerman system we first developed in 2020. Completely redesigned, it delivers greater steering precision, wider adjustment possibilities, and an enhanced steering feel under all track conditions.

Thanks to the new design, you can now take full advantage of the entire Front Hub travel in both directions, maximising stability and responsiveness. The new balls and spacers allow precise bump steer adjustment, a feature not available with the standard system, providing refined control over front-end geometry and steering behaviour.

The three adjustment options on the Front Hub Carrier make it possible to fine-tune the bump steer according to the caster angle in use, while also allowing you to adjust steering sensitivity in three distinct positions for a setup that perfectly matches your driving style.

We recommend starting with a 1 mm spacer (Blue) under the outer ball, from their, depending on your needs, you can raise or lower the ball to fine-tune steering response and achieve the ideal front-end feel for any track.

The kit is supplied complete with all eight assembly screws, ensuring an easy and precise installation right out of the box.
