The O.S. SPEED R2106 is a factory-tuned engine meticulously developed for 1/8 on-road racing competitions.

This new powerhouse features a 9-port cylinder liner with redesigned ports, delivering enhanced performance.

To ensure a robust power delivery from the low end, the crankshaft from the R21 Euro II has been incorporated, along with highly acclaimed ceramic ball bearings from off-road engines.

The newly designed, reinforced connecting rod is now more strong, capable of enduring the rigors of intense on-road racing conditions.

The acronym PBI stands for Pre Break-In.

This means the engine is factory pre-run (pre-broken-in) before being sold.
The goals are to:

• Reduce the break-in time,
• Lower the risk of engine seizure during the first start,
• Provide better stability from the first fuel tanks,
• Allow faster tuning and setup at the track.
