SWORKZ S35-5 - The Next Evolution in 1/8 Nitro Buggy Racing Building on the proven success of the SWORKz S35-4 EVO platform, the all-new SWORKz S35-5 has been developed for an even higher level of racing performance. The well-known and successful geometry of its predecessor has been carefully optimized in key areas, delivering higher cornering speeds, increased traction, and a more forgiving driving feel-without changing the fundamental driving character. The result is a buggy that remains predictable and easy to control, while offering increased consistency and confidence across a wide variety of track conditions.

High-Performance Chassis Platform

The S35-5 is built around a lightened T7075 hard-anodized aluminum chassis, based on the proven wheelbase layout of the S35-4 EVO, which has been extensively used by SWORKz factory drivers. In addition, an optional +3 mm extended chassis will once again be available, just like on the S35-4 EVO. This longer version is ideal for fast, high-grip tracks, providing improved stability and easier handling at high speeds.

Drivetrain and Gearbox Technology

The S35-5 drivetrain is designed for high adaptability across different track and grip conditions. The high-quality and successful SWORKz HET differential system from the S35-4 EVO is included as standard, ensuring proven performance and reliability. An optional 0.8-module spur gear and clutch bell system is available for more efficient and consistent power delivery. The gearbox features adjustable differential and pinion gear heights for fine tuning the drivetrain setup. The 0 (low) position is identical to the S35-4 EVO differential position, providing a familiar baseline setup.

New Sway Bar System (S35-5)

The new sway bar mounts are supported by ball bearings, allowing the sway bars to move more freely and smoothly while enabling a more precise and consistent adjustment. This improvement results in a more optimized suspension response, providing increased precision, smoother operation, and higher overall consistency.

Proven Steering System with Enhanced Ackermann Option

The S35-5 is equipped with the proven steering system carried over from the S35-4 EVO, ensuring reliable, consistent, and well-balanced steering characteristics. A +5 Ackermann plate is included in the kit to increase steering response. For further setup flexibility, an optional +10 Ackermann plate is available, offering maximum steering angle and enhanced steering performance on tight, technical tracks with multiple 180-degree hairpins

All-New Radio Tray Layout

The redesigned radio tray follows full SWORKz design philosophy and offers:

• Multiple receiver battery mounting options

• Flexible receiver positioning

• Compatibility with various switch types

• Two transponder mounting locations This ensures clean installation and easy setup customization.

Suspension Arm Components

The S35-5 is equipped with LCD (Large Caster Design) front upper arms, which were already available as an option on the S35-4 EVO and have proven their performance and durability over several years of racing. To improve durability and cleanliness, plastic covers for the front and rear lower suspension arms are included. These covers provide effective protection against dirt and debris while also giving the buggy a cleaner and more aggressive appearance.

New-Generation Shock System

The shock system of the S35-5 has been completely updated:

• New high-quality X-rings for smoother shock action and improved sealing

• New double-line shock towers:

• Upper line based on the proven S35-4 EVO design

• Lower line optimized for high-grip tracks, offering a lower center of gravity and more precise handling

• All-new Samurai Competition spring line, developed specifically for improved balance and consistency

Together, these changes significantly enhance shock performance and overall vehicle control.
